1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to LyricForge AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our AI-powered lyrics creation services, including rhyme suggestions, syllable counting, line rewriting, and other songwriting tools ("Service"), available at https://lyricforge.ai.

By creating an account, subscribing to any plan, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years of age; (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.

Important: If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

LyricForge AI provides an AI-powered platform that assists songwriters in the creative process. The Service includes tools for rhyme suggestions, syllable counting, line rewriting, line completion, synonym search, and AI-powered chat assistance.

This Service is a digital software-as-a-service (SaaS) product delivered over the internet. Due to the immediate delivery nature of digital services, refunds are subject to specific limitations as outlined in Section 7.

2.1 AI Model Disclosure

This Service uses third-party AI model providers, including DeepSeek (DeepSeek Chat and DeepSeek Reasoner models), to generate lyrics suggestions and assistance. The performance and availability of this Service may be affected by these providers' operational status. Significant interruptions will be communicated to users promptly.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

Use of this Service requires creating an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.

3.2 Account Security

  • Report any unauthorized use immediately to support@lyricforge.ai
  • Do not share login credentials with any third party
  • Ensure your billing email address remains valid and accessible

3.3 Enterprise Accounts

If registering on behalf of a company or organization, you declare that you are authorized to enter into this agreement for that entity.

4. Subscription Plans

We offer subscription plans to access this Service:

  • Free Plan: Limited to 5 songs with basic features
  • Pro Plan: Unlimited songs with full AI features ($15/month or $144/year)
  • Enterprise Plan: Everything in Pro plus API access, team collaboration, and dedicated support ($49/month or $470/year)

Current plan details and pricing are available at /pricing. We reserve the right to modify plan features or introduce new plans at any time. Price changes are governed by Section 5.1.

5. Billing and Payment

5.1 Automatic Renewal Authorization

By providing a payment method and subscribing to a paid plan, you explicitly authorize LyricForge AI to charge your payment method for the corresponding subscription fees on a recurring basis. This recurring authorization remains in effect until you cancel your subscription per Section 6.

Your subscription auto-renews at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled. For annual subscriptions, we will send a reminder before renewal.

5.2 Taxes

Unless otherwise stated, all prices exclude applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, sales tax, etc.). Where required by law, we will collect and remit such taxes.

5.3 Payment Processing

Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Waffo Pancake. We do not store complete card numbers on our servers.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time via:

  • Online (Recommended): Account Settings > Subscription > Cancel Subscription
  • Email: Send a cancellation request from your registered email to support@lyricforge.ai

Cancellation takes effect immediately. We will send a confirmation email within 10 minutes.

6.2 Effect of Cancellation

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • Account data will be retained for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted per our Privacy Policy

7. Refund Policy

7.1 General Policy

Due to the immediate delivery nature of digital services, subscription fees are non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

7.2 Eligible Refund Situations

  • 7-Day Guarantee for New Subscribers: First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their first charge, provided usage does not exceed 20% of the plan quota
  • Duplicate Charges: Full refund for charges resulting from billing errors
  • Verified Service Interruption: Pro-rated refund or credit for prolonged interruptions (超过72小时) caused by us
  • Legal Rights: Statutory cancellation or refund rights (e.g., EU/UK 14-day cooling-off period) are preserved

7.3 How to Request a Refund

Send refund requests to support@lyricforge.ai with your account email, transaction ID, and reason. We confirm within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 5-10 business days.

7.4 Non-Refundable Items

  • Used subscription periods (except in 7.2 situations)
  • Annual subscription refunds requested more than 30 days after initial purchase
  • Accounts terminated for violation of these Terms or Acceptable Use Policy

8. Billing Disputes

If you believe a charge is in error, please contact support@lyricforge.ai before contacting your bank. We commit to responding within 2 business days and resolving confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

9. AI Content and Intellectual Property

9.1 Output Content Ownership

Subject to these Terms, AI-generated content ("Output") created from your inputs belongs to you. You may use Output for any lawful purpose permitted under Section 10.

9.2 Input Content License

By submitting content to this Service ("Input"), you grant LyricForge AI a limited, non-exclusive license solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not use your Input to train AI models without your explicit consent.

9.3 Third-Party AI Model Dependency

This Service uses third-party AI model providers, including DeepSeek. Output may be influenced by these providers' models. We do not guarantee specific output quality and are not liable for content generated by third-party models.

9.4 AI Output Accuracy

AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying Output before relying on it.

10. Acceptable Use Policy

You may only use this Service for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms. Please review our Acceptable Use Policy for detailed prohibited uses.

10.1 General Prohibitions

You agree not to use this Service to:

  • Generate illegal, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent content
  • Generate, distribute, or assist in creating deepfake content, including AI-synthesized audio, video, or images impersonating real individuals or designed to mislead viewers about their origin or authenticity
  • Generate content involving the sexualization of minors or violations of child protection laws
  • Create malware, phishing content, or cyberattack tools
  • Infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Bypass or interfere with this Service's security features
  • Resell or sublicense access without prior written approval
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or card network rules

10.2 AI-Specific Prohibitions

In addition to the above, given this Service's AI nature, you specifically agree not to:

  • Use this Service's Input, Output, model responses, or any derivative data to train, fine-tune, benchmark, perform knowledge distillation on, or otherwise develop any AI or machine learning model that directly or indirectly competes with this Service or LyricForge AI products
  • Systematically scrape, extract, or collect model outputs at scale for purposes beyond your personal authorized use
  • In contexts where it could cause harm, present AI-generated content as the work of human professionals (such as licensed doctors, lawyers, or financial advisors)

11. Data, Privacy and Security

Your use of this Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor (Waffo Pancake) and is not stored on our servers. Account data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted.

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

12.1 Disclaimer

This Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or AI output accuracy.

AI Output Disclaimer

This Service's AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Do not use it for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Always verify with qualified professionals before acting on AI-generated content.

12.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LyricForge AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Term and Termination

These Terms remain effective during your use of this Service. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or are required by law. If we terminate for reasons not attributable to your breach, you will receive a pro-rated refund for unused prepaid periods. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@lyricforge.ai.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LyricForge AI operates. Before initiating formal proceedings, please contact support@lyricforge.ai to attempt informal resolution.

15. General Provisions

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance via email before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully effective. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and LyricForge AI.
